This is what happens when you visit friends who just had a baby, and you bring a camera and one flash. I hadn’t planned on doing a photo session, but that’s what happened. This is what I could muster with minimal lighting and no props. The set is the hearth at my friend’s house. There are candles in the fireplace, and I tried my best to not make it look like the candles were growing out of little Ian.
