I had a few spare minutes this evening so I headed over to Chesapeake Plaza to take some photos. I used my nifty fifty, a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. I used an aperture of f/10, unless I needed the shallow depth of field.
When shooting Christmas lights, it can be tricky getting your white balance right. I used tungsten in these shots. Typically, I like a warmer shot, but I really like the way the cool color temperature makes the shot look.
